Yes. The "Local Mode" is completely free and unlimited. It cleans up filenames (e.g. "red-shoe.jpg" becomes "Red shoe") and sets them as alt text.
Pro uses Computer Vision AI to "see" the image. Even if your file is named "IMG_1234.jpg", Pro will generate "Woman running in park". The Free version relies on your filenames being descriptive.

2. Description of Service
Smart Alt Fixer provides a WordPress plugin and API service that uses Artificial Intelligence to analyze images and generate alternative text ("alt-text") for accessibility and SEO purposes. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
3. User Accounts & License Keys
To use the paid features of the Service, you must purchase a license key. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your license key. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Payments and Credits
The Service operates on a credit-based system or subscription model. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Credits purchased as "one-time packs" do not expire unless otherwise stated. Subscription payments are recurring and will renew automatically unless cancelled.
5. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of the Service and the immediate costs incurred by API usage (OpenAI), all sales are generally final. Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion in cases of technical failure where the Service did not perform as described.
6. Intellectual Property
The plugin code, brand, and website content remain the exclusive property of Smart Alt Fixer. The alt-text generated for your images becomes your property upon creation.
7. Limitation of Liability
Smart Alt Fixer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
8. AI Accuracy Disclaimer
The Service uses AI to generate content. While we strive for high accuracy, AI may occasionally produce incorrect or irrelevant descriptions. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all generated content before publishing it on your website.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
