1 Installation

Installing Smart Alt Fixer is just like any other WordPress plugin.

1. Download the plugin file (smart-alt-fixer.zip) to your computer.
2. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
3. Go to Plugins > Add New.
4. Click the Upload Plugin button at the top.
5. Select the zip file you just downloaded and click Install Now.
6. Click Activate Plugin.

2 Activate License

You can use the plugin for free (5 credits) without a key. To unlock more, you need a license key.

1. Go to Settings > Smart Alt Fixer in your WordPress menu.
2. Click on the Settings tab.
3. Paste your key (starts with SAF-) into the License Key field.
4. Click Save Changes.

3 Scanning & Fixing

This is where the magic happens. The plugin will find all images missing alt-text and fix them for you.

Method A: Bulk Fixer (Recommended)

Use this to fix your entire library at once.

1. Go to the Bulk Fixer tab in the plugin settings.
2. Click Start Scan. The plugin will check your database.
3. Once the scan is complete, you will see how many images need fixing.
4. Click Fix All Images Now to let the AI do its work.

Note: Keep the browser tab open while the fixer is running. It processes images in batches of 5.

Method B: Individual Images

You can also fix images one by one via the Media Library list view.

4 Credits

Smart Alt Fixer uses a credit system. 1 Credit = 1 Image Fixed.
